As I read this story I am remember older news reports on similar abuses by police officers. I wonder if all of these offences were counted up and taken as a percentage of the patrolling police force, would it be higher than 1.9% or 1.3% ? Is it statistically more dangerous to be pulled over than to live within 2,000 feet of a RSO?

And what is the statistical danger of living within 2000′ feet of a cop?

A teen driver is far more likely to get molested during a “routine” traffic stop than by some trench coat clad, shifty eyed sex offender. Yes, police commit around 700 reported sex crimes per year and countless unreported sex crimes. Check the National Police Misconduct Report for some eye opening facts. Of those police committed sex crimes, 57% are non consensual, 38 % are with minors. That means that law enforcement commits more sex crimes than teachers; fewer cops commit more crimes. About 800,000 cops vs 6.2 million teachers in the US. Police commit around 700 reported offenses vs 500 for teachers. I say we have a real danger in blue, to protect and serve? Those days are long gone, the new norm is a dirty cop. I

Oh, and keep in mind, a cop’s sentence, if any, averages one third the time of anyone else convicted of the same crime. Where’s the love?

At least he didn’t plan on eating his victims like this NY cop! I’m not sure, is cooking and eating victims a registerable offense?
